Attorney Chris Loebsack
Loebsack & Brownlee, PLLC

Chris is the founder and Managing Principal of the law firm of Loebsack & Brownlee, PLLC.  Chris is a 1996 graduate of Duke University School of Law (J.D.) and a 1993 graduate of Clemson University (B.S.).  Chris has been a resident of Gastonia and Charlotte since graduating law school in 1996, and he has two sons, Joseph and Thomas.

Chris’ legal practice focuses primarily on representing national Multifamily & Single Family Operator property management firms, but he is a Certified Mediator who regularly mediates Landlord-Tenant, General Business and Construction Litigation cases for other attorneys.

In 2008, Chris was recognized for inclusion on the 2009 North Carolina Super Lawyers’ “Rising Stars” list for Business Litigation, and in 2010, Chris again was recognized and included in the 2011 “Rising Stars” list for Construction Litigation.  In 2013, Chris was named a member of North Carolina’s “Legal Elite” by Business North Carolina magazine for his work in Business Litigation.  In 2015, Chris was again recognized for inclusion by North Carolina Super Lawyers, making their 2016 list for Business Litigation and he has been honored to make the list in the area of General Litigation each year since.

Finally, Chris volunteers much of his spare time in service of several non-profit entities.  He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Apartment Association of North Carolina; he is a 2023 member of the Wilmington Apartment Association Board; he was a member of the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association Board from 2017-2020; is the past-President of the Board of Directors for Charlotte Preparatory School; and since 2015 has been a member of the Clemson University Humanities Advancement Board, of which he is currently the Chair.
